About the role
Join the team at Cooinda Lodge in Kakadu National Park as a Kitchen Steward / Kitchen Hand. You will help maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment while supporting food preparation for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including food preparation and storage zones.
- Keep floors and work surfaces clear of hazards and obstructions.
- Operate and report faults on kitchen cleaning equipment.
- Assemble and prepare ingredients as requested.
- Assist with receiving, storing stock and handling chemicals safely.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a hotel or kitchen environment.
- Physically fit for manual tasks and lifting.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Flexible, reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and public holidays.
