Key Account Manager

About the role

Take ownership of two major national retail partnerships for a leading premium outdoor consumer goods business operating across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Marketing and Sales Director, you will develop strategies to grow revenue, profitability, distribution and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships and develop joint business plans with two national retailers.
• Lead negotiations, manage account budgets and trade spend to support profitable growth.
• Analyse customer, category and competitor data to guide account plans and commercial decisions.
• Execute product launches, seasonal programmes, promotions and retail activations both in‑store and online.
• Report performance, opportunities and commercial insights to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven capability in key or national account management with major retail accounts in outdoor consumer goods or a similar premium product category.
• Track record of growing accounts through strong relationships, structured planning and consistent execution.
• Extensive experience negotiating pricing, ranging, promotions, trading terms and customer investment.
• Sound commercial judgement across forecasting, trade‑spend management and performance analysis.
