Key Account Manager

About the role

Wilmar Sugar Australia is seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee and expand a portfolio of key grower accounts across the Burdekin region. You will combine strong relationship management with proactive business development, spending time on the road to connect with growers, identify opportunities, and bring new business on board while retaining existing partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead growth by attracting new growers and developing high‑value client relationships through targeted engagement.
• Manage key grower accounts, delivering exceptional service and providing information on sugar pricing, cash‑flow options, and related opportunities.
• Build and strengthen industry connections by working closely with growers, advisors, and stakeholders, and represent the company at events and forums.
• Promote a safe and responsible workplace by following health, safety, and environmental procedures and reporting hazards.
• Support planning and budgeting activities, manage grower‑related risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Advanced commercial account and relationship management capabilities.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in account management or sales within agriculture or related sectors.
