Junior Production Assistant / Workshop Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated junior or entry‑level team member to join our Darra workshop and learn high‑quality metal fabrication and manufacturing. This true entry‑level position will teach you the fundamentals of product assembly, industrial painting, sand‑blasting and welding, with on‑the‑job training from experienced tradespeople.

Key responsibilities

• Perform foundational and repetitive workshop tasks to understand product build processes.
• Assist in product assembly of high‑tech fireplaces.
• Support industrial painting and sand‑blasting operations.
• Learn and eventually carry out MIG/TIG welding under supervision.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic and reliability; punctual attendance.
• Pride in workmanship, attention to detail and practical mindset.
• Willingness to listen, learn and accept feedback.
• Ability to work safely within a small, supportive team.
• School leaver, pre‑apprentice or career switcher; basic hand‑tool experience a plus.

Required skills

• Basic use of hand tools.
