Junior IT Administrator

About the role

PropertyMe, Australia’s leading cloud‑based property management platform, is seeking a motivated Junior IT Administrator to join its small IT team. Based in the Sydney office, you will be the first point of contact for internal IT support, helping staff across the country both on‑site and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all IT support requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues on Windows and Mac devices, monitors, docks, mobile devices and accessories.
• Liaise with software providers and vendors to address technical problems.
• Administer user accounts and manage devices via JumpCloud (MDM).
• Assist with configuration and maintenance of network switches, wireless access points and routers.
• Support the SaaS stack including Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Salesforce and related tools.
• Provide AV support for meeting rooms and studio setups (Zoom Rooms, iPhones, microphones, sound mixers, lighting).
• Help operate the cyber‑security suite (CrowdStrike, Cloudflare) and perform routine updates and audit reviews.
• Maintain the asset register and assist with onboarding/off‑boarding, hardware disposal and licence provisioning.
• Support office moves, desk setups and various IT projects while keeping documentation up to date.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or help‑desk role, or a relevant IT qualification.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and prioritize conflicting demands.
• Strong documentation and communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical staff.
