Junior Draftsperson

About the role

DOF is looking for a motivated Junior Draftsperson to join its Engineering & Drafting team in the Perth CBD. Reporting to the Lead Draftsperson, you will gain hands‑on experience on offshore and subsea projects while developing your technical capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain 2D technical drawings and documentation to a high professional standard.
• Develop storyboards and drafting packages for offshore and subsea work scopes.
• Liaise with engineers and project stakeholders to obtain design information.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant drafting standards and project requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Required profile

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering, Technical Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review drawings for compliance and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and project teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Experience with Autodesk Vault (desirable).
• Ability to produce drawings in accordance with relevant drafting standards.
