Junior Credit Control Officer

About the role

SRG Global is seeking a motivated Junior Credit and Collection Officer to join its Finance team at the Subiaco head office. The role suits someone wanting to build a long-term career in credit, collections and accounts receivable within a large, diverse organisation. Training and support are provided alongside an experienced finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers about outstanding accounts by phone and email, and build positive relationships
• Monitor and manage the Accounts Receivable inbox
• Assist with account reconciliations, receipt processing, invoice generation and account maintenance
• Conduct credit checks and help set up new customer accounts
• Liaise with operational teams on account matters and assist with end-of-month statements and reporting
• Maintain accurate customer and financial records and provide general admin support to the Finance team

Required profile

• Genuine interest in a career in credit, collections or accounts receivable
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn; previous experience in administration, customer service or accounts is highly regarded but not essential
• Good communication and customer service skills, with confidence dealing with customers by phone and email
• Attention to detail, good organisational skills and ability to work in a team

Required skills

• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
