JCB Workshop Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled JCB Workshop Technician to join our Acacia Ridge workshop. In this permanent full-time position you will service, diagnose and repair a wide range of JCB construction equipment, ensuring machines are returned to customers in top condition.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair JCB construction equipment.
• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
• Complete inspections, fault reports and service documentation.
• Carry out repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate with parts and service teams to achieve efficient turnaround.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.

Required profile

• Mechanical Trade Certificate.
• Experience repairing construction equipment, earth-moving machinery, plant equipment, forklifts or heavy vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and service information.
• Current Australian driver’s licence (forklift/EWP/HR licence desirable).
• Physically capable of manual handling tasks and committed to safety.
• Full working rights in Australia and ability to undergo pre-employment medical screening.
