IT Service Desk Support

About the role

Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth's Naval Shipbuilding Plan. It is looking for an IT Service Desk Support professional to join its Enterprise Technology Services function, reporting to the Service Desk Team Lead. The role covers technology support across Microsoft 365, end-user devices, workplace technologies, identity and access, and ServiceNow.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support across devices, applications, Microsoft 365 and workplace technologies
• Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation
• Support employee onboarding, offboarding, access requests and device provisioning
• Configure, deploy and maintain end-user devices while supporting asset lifecycle management
• Contribute to cybersecurity compliance, knowledge management and continuous service improvement

Required profile

• Experience providing technology support in a corporate or customer-facing environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Ability to hold or obtain and maintain an appropriate national security clearance, and consent to background checks

Required skills

• Level 1 and/or Level 2 technology support capability
• Desired: administration of cloud Microsoft 365 services, Entra, Intune, Exchange, SharePoint and IT service management processes
