IT Service Desk Operator – Stawell

About the role

Grampians Health is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Operator to join its Stawell campus. This fully onsite position supports a busy regional healthcare environment, providing high‑quality IT assistance and building strong local connections.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all IT support requests on the campus.
• Receive and manage incoming calls and tickets, ensuring timely logging and tracking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
• Prioritise competing tasks in a high‑volume, fast‑paced service desk environment.
• Provide onsite support to field technicians for device setup, troubleshooting and deployments.
• Escalate complex issues when necessary and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a fast‑paced IT support or MSP environment.
• Strong ability to manage high call volumes and ticket queues.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and team‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work onsite in regional Victoria and support the local community.

Required skills

• Experience with ITSM tools
