iOS Engineer – App Store

About the role

Apple’s App Store team is looking for a proactive iOS Engineer to design and implement beautiful, robust user interfaces that help developers showcase their apps and enable customers to discover them. You will collaborate with design, product, OS, and services teams to deliver a seamless App Store experience across Apple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain UI features for the App Store using Apple’s frameworks.
• Work cross‑functionally with design, product, OS, and services engineering teams.
• Scale the App Store service to support millions of apps and billions of users.
• Investigate project requirements independently and advocate best development practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong object‑oriented programming and design skills.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and work effectively in a multi‑functional team.

Required skills

• Swift and Objective‑C programming.
• UIKit, AppKit, and/or SwiftUI.
• Networking protocols and API design.
• Asynchronous programming.
• JavaScript, TypeScript, AJAX, and Node.js.
