International Education Growth Lead

About the role

Canva is looking for an International Education Growth Lead to shape and execute its education strategy across global markets. Based in Sydney, you will work closely with the International and Sales teams to drive activation, retention, and habit formation among teachers and students worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own education as a growth vertical internationally, defining market prioritisation and sequencing.
• Unify country education leads under a single international education strategy.
• Shift focus from one‑off training to embedding Canva into everyday classroom workflows.
• Align Sales, Marketing, Product, Content and Partnerships around measurable education growth outcomes.
• Translate local market learnings into a scalable global playbook.
• Partner with Country Education Leads and Country Managers to adapt the central strategy for each market.

Required profile

• Proven experience building or scaling a vertical, segment or market at an international or multi‑market level.
• Strong focus on activation, retention and habit formation.
• Ability to move from global strategy to concrete classroom implementation.
• Credibility in K‑12 and higher‑education contexts or rapid learning ability.
• Comfort navigating grassroots (teachers, schools) and strategic (partners, government) environments.
• Experience influencing cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
• Curious, adaptable and motivated to shape a yet‑to‑be‑defined playbook.
