Course Coordinator – Social Work

About the role

The Course Coordinator – Social Work will provide academic leadership for the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) program at our Oxford Street campus. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will ensure high‑quality learning experiences, strong student outcomes and compliance with higher‑education standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic oversight of assigned Social Work courses and mentor academic staff.
• Monitor course delivery, lead curriculum reviews and support assessment moderation.
• Track student progression, retention and performance, and resolve academic matters.
• Contribute to governance, accreditation, audit and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Postgraduate qualification in Social Work or related discipline, at least one AQF level higher than the coordinated course.
• Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
• Experience in higher‑education course coordination, academic leadership or program management.
• Knowledge of the Higher Education Standards Framework and TEQSA requirements.
