National Sales Manager

About the role

Shearwell Data Australia, a provider of livestock identification, traceability and farm management solutions based in Bendigo, Victoria, is recruiting a National Sales Manager. Reporting to the Global Sales Manager and leading a nationally dispersed sales team, the role shapes strategy, develops people, strengthens customer relationships and identifies new market opportunities. It is a genuine leadership position with responsibility for both strategic direction and commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute national sales and commercial strategies aligned to business objectives and growth targets.
• Drive revenue growth, market share expansion and new business development.
• Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed sales team across Australia.
• Build relationships with customers, distributors, industry stakeholders and farming communities.
• Partner with global leadership on pricing strategies, commercial targets and profitable growth initiatives.
• Analyse sales performance, market trends and competitor activity to inform decisions.
• Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, conferences and customer engagements.

Required profile

• Proven success in a senior sales leadership, commercial leadership or National Sales Manager role.
• Track record of growing revenue, increasing market share and delivering commercial results.
• Experience developing and executing commercial strategies.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams with varying experience across multiple states.
• Experience in agribusiness, agricultural technology, animal health, livestock, rural products or a related sector is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Commercial acumen in forecasting, pricing, sales analytics and profitability management.
• Stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
