Internal Recruitment Consultant – Healthcare

About the role

Join Vitalis Health’s People & Culture team to lead end‑to‑end recruitment for a range of healthcare professionals, including nurses, allied health staff and disability support workers. You will partner with clinical and operational leaders to build talent pipelines and support the organisation’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from advertising and sourcing to interviews, reference checks and onboarding coordination.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines using SEEK, LinkedIn, social media and other recruitment channels.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to understand workforce needs, anticipate vacancies and prioritise recruitment activity.
• Coordinate candidate assessments, pre‑employment compliance checks and maintain accurate, confidential recruitment records.
• Contribute to targeted recruitment campaigns, graduate nurse programs and workforce growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Organised, resourceful recruitment professional with experience in internal or agency recruitment.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and candidate relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
• Experience recruiting in healthcare, nursing, aged care or disability support is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Proficiency with recruitment platforms such as SEEK and LinkedIn.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
