Intermediate or Senior Accountant

About the role

A well-established and respected boutique accounting firm in Perth CBD is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join its growing business services team. The role builds on compliance experience while working across a broad mix of SME clients, with experienced managers invested in your growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and BAS/IAS for a diverse client base including SMEs, family groups, trusts, partnerships and HNWIs
• Manage tax compliance obligations including GST, CGT, FBT, Div 7A and trust distributions
• Contribute to tax planning and advisory work alongside managers and partners
• Prepare and lodge activity statements and other ATO reporting requirements
• Liaise with clients directly to offer advice and continuous support

Required profile

• Intermediate: 2-3+ years' experience in an Australian public practice firm; Senior: 4-5+ years' experience
• Progressing toward CA/CPA, or already qualified
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
