Integrated Logistics Support Manager

About the role

The Minor Vessel Capability Life Cycle Manager (MV CLCM) program at Raytheon Australia is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support Manager. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) personnel and activities across the Offshore Patrol Vessels, Cape Class Patrol Boats and Hydrographic ship capability life cycle. You will work in a multi-stakeholder, multi-disciplinary project environment to embed supportability requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle, supporting Platform Mission and Support Systems and ensuring the safety, availability, capability and efficiency of the ships for the Navy. The position is co-located with Defence at one of several locations, with a hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LSA models, carry out analysis and recommend ways to balance availability, capability, budget and risk.
• Carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
• Carry out maintenance and spare parts optimisation.
• Assess, monitor and report on progress of assigned ILS activities and advise relevant parties on logistics support issues.
• Manage the Naval Logistics Information System LSA toolsets and data on behalf of MV SPO.
• Support the obsolescence management process.
• Develop and mentor MV CLCM program ILS engineers.

Required profile

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a Defence integrated logistics environment covering acquisition, development and sustainment (maritime preferred).
• Previous experience managing diverse teams.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at client, peer, supplier and senior leadership levels.
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Defence security clearance to Negative Vetting 1 level.
• Willingness to travel where required.
