Insurance Manager

About the role

Cleanaway is seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to own its corporate insurance programme, protecting people, assets and the business. You will work closely with senior leaders, brokers, insurers and internal teams, providing trusted advice and shaping risk‑management strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the corporate insurance programme, ensuring coverage is appropriate, competitive and aligned with business needs.
• Deliver annual insurance presentations to Australian and global markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, insurers, underwriters and internal stakeholders.
• Identify risks and opportunities, coordinating renewals, risk engineering, valuations, claims and the insurance register.
• Provide advice on contracts, acquisitions and strategic initiatives, and prepare reporting for senior leaders and the Board.

Required profile

• Proven experience in global and corporate insurance.
• Strong relationship‑building and collaborative skills.
• Commercially minded with analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and presenting insights.
• Curious, proactive and focused on continuous improvement.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or related discipline is desirable.
