Installation Coordinator

About the role

A commercial furniture business that supplies, designs and installs ergonomic office and commercial furniture across Perth is looking for a reliable, hands-on and organised Installation Coordinator based in Canning Vale. The role covers site measurement through to delivery, installation and handover, working closely with the Project Manager, production team, installers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Take accurate site measurements and check site conditions against approved drawings
• Read plans and shop drawings to support manufacturing and installation
• Coordinate deliveries, installation schedules, site access and project follow-ups
• Liaise with customers, site supervisors, installers and internal teams
• Deliver, handle, assemble and install furniture and cabinetry
• Use hand and power tools for minor adjustments, repairs and defect rectification
• Inspect materials and finished installations for quality, accuracy and completeness
• Maintain project records, photos, tasks and updates in Odoo and other systems
• Help with final inspections, defect close-out and customer handover
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements, site procedures and PPE standards

Required profile

• Ideally experience in furniture installation, cabinetry, joinery, commercial fit-outs or a related industry
• Ability to measure accurately and interpret technical drawings
• Confident using tools and handling furniture and materials safely
• Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused attitude and commitment to quality and safety
• Current driver's licence suitable for the vehicles required

Required skills

• Practical skills and tool use
• Reading plans and shop drawings
• Computer skills; Odoo or similar software experience highly regarded

What we offer

• $35 per hour full-time plus daily overtime
• Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm
