Information Technology Technician

About the role

The Information Technology Technician provides on‑site support for end‑users and office infrastructure, ensuring that computers, peripherals, network equipment and smart office solutions operate smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops and peripherals across Windows, macOS and Linux environments.
• Provision, de‑provision and image corporate devices, including phones and temporary replacements.
• Install, test and maintain basic network hardware such as switches, routers and access points, and support out‑of‑band, firewall, NAC and DNS equipment.
• Resolve connectivity issues for Wi‑Fi and LAN, and support smart metering, digital signage and AV equipment.
• Perform asset management tasks: receive, tag, register, audit, wipe and dispose of hardware in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with Level‑2 teams, vendors and third‑party providers, and document incidents for knowledge sharing.
• Assist during audits, SOX compliance checks and scheduled maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in end‑user IT support within an office environment.
• Ability to follow structured processes and maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with users, L2 teams and external partners.
