Indigenous Business Leadership Lecturer (Level B‑D)

About the role
The University of Melbourne invites applications for a Continuing Faculty position within the Faculty of Business and Economics. The role is based in the Dilin Duwa Centre and focuses on Indigenous business leadership, entrepreneurship, and policy research.
Key responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to high‑quality research projects on Indigenous leadership, entrepreneurship, business ecosystems, policy and participation.
- Secure research funding, produce influential publications and disseminate findings to academic, community, policy and industry audiences.
- Supervise and mentor higher‑degree researchers and early‑career academics within Dilin Duwa programmes.
- Deliver postgraduate, executive or community‑focused teaching aligned with your expertise and the Centre’s priorities.
- Build and maintain partnerships with Indigenous communities, governments, businesses and universities nationally and internationally.
Required profile
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander with lived experience of Indigenous cultures and knowledges.
- Hold a doctoral degree in Indigenous business, Indigenous leadership or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate a strong and growing record of research, publications and, where applicable, competitive research funding success.
- Experience designing and delivering university‑level subjects or programmes in Indigenous Business and Leadership or related fields.
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor higher‑degree research students and emerging Indigenous scholars.

- Salary range $124,656 – $202,556 per annum plus 17% superannuation.
