Implementation Project Manager

About the role

Emanate Technology is partnering with a respected organisation undergoing a significant business and technology transformation and is seeking an experienced Implementation Project Manager to own the final stages of delivery: business readiness, cutover planning, deployment and go-live execution. Reporting to the project leadership team, the role takes ownership of implementation planning and go-live delivery for a complex enterprise platform whose design and development phases are already complete. It is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has led large-scale enterprise implementations through to production and can bring together multiple project streams for a seamless transition to operations. The contract runs until the end of June 2027 with extension possible.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation, cutover and go-live planning across multiple project workstreams.
• Coordinate business readiness and operational readiness activities.
• Drive implementation schedules, dependencies, milestones and transition plans.
• Manage implementation risks, issues and critical dependencies, escalating where required.
• Coordinate deployment, transition and post-go-live support activities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, vendors and delivery partners.
• Support governance forums through reporting, status updates and implementation dashboards.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams and partner with change and training teams to support adoption and user readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex implementation, deployment or go-live initiatives.
• Demonstrated success delivering large-scale enterprise technology projects into production.
• Experience managing multiple competing priorities across business and technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive, business and technical stakeholders.
• Practical, outcomes-focused approach and confidence to lead critical implementation activities through to completion.
