ICT Team Leader

About the role

AECOM is looking for an experienced ICT & Security Consultant to join its Melbourne office as Team Lead. The role offers a leadership position managing a large team of multi-disciplinary specialists while applying technical knowledge to landmark projects across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Support the regional and national ICT consulting team on a diverse range of projects
• Manage stakeholder engagement, technology road-mapping, briefing and sign-off
• Lead business development opportunities and tenders
• Lead and mentor junior members of the ICT team
• Drive quality assurance and a positive business culture
• Inform business growth initiatives and strategic pursuits
• Undertake design work such as systems architecture, interoperability and deployment planning, and ICT design including cloud, identity and access management, server and storage, integrated networking, Wi-Fi, endpoint devices and structured cabling
• Oversee security systems (CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion alarms) and clinical and non-clinical healthcare applications (nurse call, RTLS, patient systems)
• Oversee audio-visual systems including IPTV, video and telepresence, collaboration systems, PAVA and digital signage
• Identify improvements, partner with clients and stakeholders, and take part in site investigations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience leading technology on large-scale multi-disciplinary projects
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Holds, or is eligible to obtain, RPEV qualifications, a security licence and defence clearance
• Ability to coordinate with clients and contractors and assist with construction phase inspections
• Preferred: further ICT study, and familiarity with Bluebeam, Revit, Visio and AutoCAD
