About the role
Based in Henderson, the ICT Systems Engineer will provide high‑level support for server, network and security systems, ensuring the ongoing effectiveness, stability, and continuous improvement of Austal’s ICT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Austal ICT services including network, servers, clouds and applications.
- Provide strategic advice to improve the standard environment, especially cloud solutions.
- Identify technological opportunities to enhance Austal’s efficiency.
- Assist other Austal groups with IT technical advice.
- Mentor and develop other technical staff.
Required profile
- Relevant higher‑institution qualifications or technical certifications, particularly in Microsoft platforms and Azure Cloud.
- 5+ years’ experience supporting a Microsoft and Azure‑based ICT environment.
- Substantial experience supporting a large organisational IT service.
- Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance.
