The role designs, develops, automates and supports customer identity services built on Okta, applying SecDevOps practices such as coding, automation, CI/CD and infrastructure as code. It works closely with the IAM Engineering Lead to identify control gaps and drive continuous improvement.

- Develop and maintain secure application, API and partner integrations using authentication, authorisation, federation and Zero Trust principles.
- Build automation, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform) to improve efficiency, consistency and reliability.
- Assess and improve customer identity controls to protect customer information, reduce fraud and account takeover risk, and address control deficiencies and audit findings.
- Diagnose complex technical issues, enhance Okta security capabilities and work with Security, Risk, Digital and Technology teams to improve the security, reliability and customer experience of CIAM services.
Required profile
- 3+ years' experience in Identity and Access Management, CIAM or Cyber Security engineering, ideally in a customer-focused environment.
- Hands-on experience with Okta or an equivalent CIAM platform, including authentication, customer identity lifecycle management and modern identity security.
- Strong knowledge of identity and authentication standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, MFA and Zero Trust.
- Experience with SecDevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, Git-based version control and automated testing.
Required skills
- Coding and automation in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or Java, building APIs, integrations and identity automation.
- Okta or equivalent CIAM platform.
- Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
What we offer
- Flexible and blended ways of working.
- Learning, leadership development, LinkedIn Learning and global career opportunities through the Daiichi Life Group.
- Life, income protection and total and permanent disability insurance funded by TAL, plus employee insurance discounts.
- Wellbeing support including an Employee Assistance Program, annual flu vaccinations and health initiatives.
- Paid parental leave, wellbeing leave, community leave and purchased leave options.
- TAL Rewards Plus with discounts at hundreds of retailers and services.
