IAM Consultant | Manager

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring a Manager in its Cybersecurity & Privacy team in Melbourne. You will work with leading organisations across many industries to design and deliver practical, future-focused identity and access management (IAM) solutions, within a collaborative team that combines deep identity expertise, strong client relationships and access to AI-enabled delivery tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of IAM engagements, working closely with clients to understand their challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes
• Design and support solutions across workforce IAM, customer IAM, privileged access, non-human identities and emerging areas such as agentic IAM
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear, practical recommendations
• Work across IAM strategy, architecture, implementation support, transformation initiatives and managed services offerings
• Collaborate with PwC's broader Digital, Cyber and global IAM teams
• Use modern delivery methods, including AI-enabled tools, to help teams deliver at scale

Required profile

• Strong IAM experience, able to work across strategic advisory and technology-led delivery
• Practical understanding of IAM concepts such as identity governance, access management, privileged access, customer identity, authentication, authorisation and identity lifecycle management
• Experience working with clients or senior stakeholders, confident in leading conversations and managing delivery
• Curious, collaborative and culturally fit, with a willingness to keep learning as the IAM landscape evolves
• You may already be a consultant or be working in industry; you do not need to have covered every IAM area or technology

Required skills

• Familiarity with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Idira / CyberArk and Ping Identity is desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of IAM platforms listed in the optional skills includes SailPoint, CyberArk, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Azure Active Directory and federated identity management
