HVAC Estimator

About the role

A Tier 1 mechanical contractor in Victoria is looking for an HVAC Estimator to lead projects worth $5 to $10 million across commercial, education, retail and healthcare sectors. The role suits someone who wants to show off expertise in estimation and engineering, with a flexible salary package and flexi/WFH options.

Key responsibilities

• Produce precise and timely estimates for HVAC projects
• Work closely with project teams to understand client requirements
• Review project specifications, drawings and documents to determine material, labour and equipment costs
• Carry out site visits and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
• Help prepare project proposals and budgets

Required profile

• At least 2 years' experience in the HVAC industry, ideally in estimation or engineering
• Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components
• Excellent analytical and mathematical ability, and strong communication and negotiation skills
• Candidates must live in Australia
