Human Resources Manager

About the role

Parkview Constructions is seeking an experienced HR Manager to own the HR function across the business, working closely with senior management, project teams and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice to managers, project teams and employees.
• Manage employee relations and industrial relations matters from start to finish, including investigations, disciplinary processes and workplace issues.
• Oversee recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding and exit processes.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures and initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with employment legislation, modern awards and enterprise agreements.
• Support employee engagement, development, retention and remuneration processes.
• Lead, mentor and develop the HR Administrator.

Required profile

• Solid HR management experience, ideally within construction or a related industry.
• Qualification in Human Resources, Psychology or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations.
• Experience with modern awards and/or enterprise agreements.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the HR function.
