Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

Crown Australia is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support across its Queensland, Northern Territory and South Australian branches. You will partner with Branch Managers to deliver people‑focused solutions that drive business performance and workforce capability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to deliver effective people solutions aligned with business goals.
• Act as the primary HR contact for designated branches, providing consistent operational and administrative support.
• Manage end‑to‑end HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, documentation and off‑boarding.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, partnering with hiring managers to attract talent.
• Provide advice, coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management and workforce planning.
• Support national HR initiatives, organisational change, restructures and projects within branches.
• Build effective relationships with branch leadership to align operational objectives with national HR strategies.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong administrative abilities and capacity to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Experience managing employee‑relation matters.
• Passion for people, culture and creating a positive work environment.
