About the role

The Human Resources Administrator will support the full employee lifecycle for Abbott across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accurate data management, efficient processes, and a high‑quality employee experience. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail‑oriented professional who enjoys working with HR systems and contributing to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide end‑to‑end HR administrative support for onboarding, employee changes, and off‑boarding.
  • Maintain and manage employee data in Workday with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and record‑keeping.
  • Analyse HR data, generate reports and deliver insights to support decision‑making.
  • Partner with the HR team to identify and implement process and policy improvements.
  • Coordinate HR events and initiatives that drive employee engagement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR administrative queries.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment legislation, company policies, and audit requirements.

Required profile

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative or coordinator role, preferably within a people‑facing function.
  • Hands‑on experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday, including data entry, reporting, and workflow management.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive employee data with high accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Experience generating reports, analysing data, and presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements such as employment documentation and audit processes.
  • Desirable: tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
