HSE Manager – East (Brisbane)

About the role

Reporting to the HSE Lead East, you will partner with site operations to achieve health, safety and environmental objectives across the East Coast sites. You will act as the primary HSE contact for operational teams and clients, driving continuous improvement and incident prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Support and influence site teams to adopt a zero‑harm mindset and meet HSE legislation.
• Develop and deliver HSE strategies, initiatives and lead indicator performance monitoring.
• Conduct investigations, root‑cause analysis and produce detailed reports.
• Manage risk assessments, critical risk management and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
• Travel to East Coast sites as required and oversee one direct report.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a health and safety related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience influencing HSE practices and driving safety improvements.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
