About the role
Abergeldie is seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver to join its Sydney team, supporting infrastructure projects across NSW. The role involves operating VAC trucks, occasional travel to Wollongong and regional sites, and may include short overnight stays.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate VAC trucks on project sites in Sydney and regional NSW.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Adhere to road and workplace safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading as required.
- Communicate effectively with site teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Required profile
- Current Australian HR driver’s licence (essential).
- Valid White Card.
- Strong commitment to safety and procedural compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to regional sites and stay away from home briefly.
Required skills
- Experience operating VAC or sweeper trucks.
