HR Manager – Australia

About the role

Meltwater is seeking a strategic HR Manager to lead people initiatives across Australia, combining hands‑on execution with strategic planning to enhance employee experience and support business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Australian business leaders to develop and implement a scalable people strategy aligned with regional objectives.
• Drive talent processes, coach managers on talent frameworks, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead local initiatives such as Wellness, DEI, CSR, Engagement, and Hybrid Work programs.
• Collaborate with Legal, Accounting and other internal teams to ensure compliance and ethical standards.
• Handle employee relations matters, including disputes, performance plans, disciplinary actions and terminations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR experience.
• 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in high‑tech environments within Australia.
• Strong business acumen, interpersonal skills and ability to act as a trusted business partner.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving global company and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HRIS, preferably Workday.
