HR Coordinator

About the role

The HR Coordinator will provide hands‑on coordination and administrative support across the employee lifecycle for LGT Wealth Management’s nationally distributed workforce. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner and second‑line to the Chief People Officer, this 24‑month fixed‑term role offers broad HR experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, employee changes and development activities, maintaining accurate records in Workday and other HR systems.
• Support recruitment processes, prepare employment documentation and organise induction sessions for new starters in Melbourne and Sydney.
• Assist with learning initiatives, professional development tracking, reporting and work health & safety activities.
• Respond to day‑to‑day HR queries, collaborate with HR Business Partners and contribute to HR projects and process improvements using data and approved AI tools.

Required profile

• University qualification in Business, Commerce, Human Resources or related field.
• At least 18 months of experience in an HR role, with sound knowledge of HR and WHS policies.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Workday HR system.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience using digital tools and AI applications ethically and securely.
