Reporting to the HR Manager, the position works across HR systems, special projects and business partners, supported by a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders on the full employee lifecycle, and support site supervisors and project managers with workplace issues, conflict resolution and culture across multiple sites and depots.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, probation, performance reviews and employee development in a dispersed, project-driven workforce.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with leaders and rapport with site teams, supervisors and corporate staff.
  • Comfortable breaking down projects and delivering them; practical, solutions-focused approach to employee relations.
  • Sound understanding of awards, the Fair Work Act and experience with IR matters in a unionised or EA-driven workforce.
  • Clear communicator able to adapt to audiences from labourers to senior management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and compliance requirements across sites, and willingness to travel to or support multiple locations.

Required skills

  • Experience using Employment Hero is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Knowledge of enterprise agreements, awards and the Fair Work Act.

What we offer

  • Opportunity to join a rapidly growing business with global backing.
  • Competitive salary with training and development pathways.
  • Clear career pathways within a global engineering network.
  • A supportive, collaborative HR team and a culture built on trust, camaraderie and inclusion.
