Employment Consultant - Remote First Nations Communities

About the role

Randstad is recruiting, through its partner ALPA, a practical and driven Employment Service Case Manager for the Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES) program in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will work on the frontlines of the program, empowering Yolŋu and local First Nations participants by resolving personal barriers, helping them obtain key identification, co-designing tailored employment pathways and delivering post-placement support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individualized support, help participants with personal ID and co-design realistic goals to guide their employment journey.
• Work side by side with participants to identify employment roadblocks and put in place practical, hands-on solutions.
• Manage ECSN/ESS database entries, maintain staff rosters, handle site logistics and compile accurate weekly and monthly performance metrics.
• Give ongoing guidance to candidates moving into local jobs so they stay employed.
• Respect local cultural practices and family structures in every decision and champion workplace safety.

Required profile

• Solid background as an Employment Consultant, Case Manager, Activity Coordinator or Site Manager within RAES or CDP frameworks.
• Proven experience living or working in remote Indigenous communities with strong cross-cultural communication skills.
• Willingness to travel by light aircraft or unsealed roads and to thrive in isolated community environments.

• Competence with employment service software (ECSN/ESS)
• Microsoft Office Suite
