HR Business Partner (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

About the role

A respected professional services organisation in Sydney CBD is hiring an HR Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave. The role supports a national client group of around 100 employees and combines business partnering, employee relations, talent initiatives and project work. It suits an emerging HR professional who wants a hands-on partnering role in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to give practical HR advice and support
• Manage employee relations and performance management matters
• Support talent, workforce and succession initiatives
• Assist with recruitment and talent acquisition activities
• Contribute to organisational change and transformation projects
• Support HR system and process improvement initiatives
• Take part in people and culture programs across the business
• Advise on health, safety and employee wellbeing matters

Required profile

• 3 to 4 years' experience in an HRBP capacity
• Experience in professional services, consulting, legal, accounting or partnership-based environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• Confidence managing employee relations and performance conversations
• Proactive, self-sufficient approach and excellent communication and organisational skills
