HR Administrator

About the role

Flat Planet is looking for a reliable, organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support the team with day-to-day HR and administrative tasks. The role suits someone who is proactive, mature, willing to learn and comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities. Training is provided for the HR systems and processes used, so technical or payroll experience is not required.

Key responsibilities

• Support the onboarding of new hires using HR systems such as Paylocity, including adding employees and sending onboarding invitations.
• Prepare and organise I-9 and E-Verify documentation and related onboarding requirements.
• Enter and update employee information accurately in internal systems, checking that information received by email is complete and correct.
• Maintain accurate and organised employee records and documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team and handle a variety of assigned tasks and priorities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members about employee and administrative matters.

Required profile

• No previous HR or payroll experience required; training is provided.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisation, with good time management.
• Comfortable working with systems, data and repetitive administrative tasks.
• Willingness to learn new software and processes quickly.
• Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and a professional, mature attitude.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Nice to have: experience with Paylocity or other HRIS platforms, exposure to US HR, onboarding, payroll, I-9 or E-Verify processes, and previous administrative or HR support experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by authorised Flat Planet recruiters.
