HR Administrator – HRIS & Recruitment Support

About the role

We are seeking an HR Administrator to join a safety‑focused organisation and support the People & Culture team. This early‑career position offers broad exposure across recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, employee relations and workplace health & safety.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for recruitment, onboarding and HR operations.
• Maintain and update HR records and employee data in the HRIS.
• Coordinate employment documentation and ensure compliance with policies.
• Assist with employee relations issues and learning & development initiatives.
• Support the implementation of a major HRIS upgrade and related system projects.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related field.
• Previous experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination or People & Culture support.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using HRIS platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP functions.
