HR Administrator - 6-Month Temporary Assignment

About the role

Chandler Macleod is recruiting an HR Administrator for a 6-month temporary assignment in Mayfield, Australia, with an ASAP start and potential for extension. The role sits within a busy and dynamic HR Shared Services function and offers flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative work for contractor-to-permanent employee conversions
• Liaise with employees, candidates and internal stakeholders to gather information and documents
• Prepare and coordinate employment documentation and letters of offer
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and platforms
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy, and monitor outstanding actions
• Answer general HR enquiries and escalate matters when needed
• Support the wider HR team and handle confidential employee information discreetly

Required profile

• Previous administration experience, ideally in HR, recruitment, onboarding, payroll or a related function
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with accurate data entry
• Excellent written and verbal communication and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and to keep confidential information secure

Desirable

• HR administration or onboarding experience
• Exposure to SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms
• Experience managing employee records and employment documentation
