Housekeeping Shift Leader

About the role

The Housekeeping Shift Leader will join Ayers Rock Resort’s hospitality team in Yulara, NT, supporting daily operations and ensuring the resort’s rooms and facilities meet the highest presentation standards. This onsite position offers a unique chance to develop leadership skills while living and working in a world‑famous location.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping department with daily operational tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain high presentation standards for rooms and public areas throughout the resort.
• Supervise housekeeping staff during the Housekeeping Supervisor’s absence, ensuring all duties are completed to company standards.
• Follow roster hours and standard operating procedures to guarantee smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic housekeeper with a desire to progress into a supervisory role.
• Strong conflict‑resolution abilities and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to work rostered shifts and live onsite at the resort.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining quality standards.
