Housekeeper / Cleaner

About the role

Minor Hotels is expanding its housekeeping team at Oaks Sunshine Coast Seaforth Resort and is looking for dedicated, detail‑oriented individuals to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, make beds, vacuum floors and clean bathrooms to high standards.
• Complete cleaning tasks within allocated hours and meet daily targets.
• Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely, following all training.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain professional relationships with guests and contractors.

Required profile

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good physical fitness for repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting and standing.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided).
