Housekeeper / Cleaner – Aged Care Home

About the role

Estia Health Plenty, an aged care provider in Melbourne's northern suburbs, is looking for experienced Housekeepers/Cleaners to join its team on a fixed-term part-time basis. The work covers a range of morning and afternoon shifts, including Monday and Tuesday from 8 am to 1 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the home clean, hygienic and safe for residents every day.
• Deliver to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, improving the presentation of and service within the home.
• Work alongside a team of aged care professionals.
• Auditing and site inspections of the home to maintain hygiene standards and support operational excellence.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail, since health and hygiene standards are critical.
• Commitment to Work, Health and Safety principles.
• Positive, warm, empathetic and can-do attitude.
• Ability to implement and manage a hygiene maintenance system through audits and inspections.
