House Supervisor - Supported Independent Living (DDSO3A)

About the role

Scope (Aust) is looking for an experienced House Supervisor (DDSO3A) to join its female-only Supported Independent Living home in Bulleen. This full-time leadership role drives the delivery of high-quality, person-centred supports, leads and mentors a team of Disability Support Workers, and builds partnerships with families, carers and key stakeholders.

The position is permanent, full-time, with 152 hours per month (77 / 75) on a roster; candidates must be available to work all shifts listed in the roster.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Disability Support Workers and manage a small staff team and related services
• Ensure effective roster management, covering budgetary and human resources aspects
• Provide training and support in a complex residential setting
• Build strong partnerships with families, carers and key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for clients

Required profile

• Experience in disability support, including dealing with behaviours of concern
• An Advanced Diploma of Disability (qualifications equivalence)
• Proven experience managing a diverse team in the community sector
• Ability to adapt and stay calm in any situation
