Hotel Manager

About the role

Minor Hotels is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager for Oaks Ipswich Aspire Suites, a dynamic property near Nicholas Street Precinct in Woodend, Ipswich. Reporting to the Cluster General Manager, you will oversee all hotel operations, maintenance and strata management to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day profitability, presentation and operations of the entire property.
• Oversee financial forecasting, staff rostering and promotional initiatives to boost sales.
• Develop and lead the property team, fostering high performance and accountability.
• Build strong relationships with Body Corporate, Strata Managers and local business partners.
• Analyse data to make strategic decisions that increase RevPAR.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Hotel Manager or similar hospitality leadership role.
• Strong operational and financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting and revenue optimisation.
• Experience in body corporate and strata management environments with knowledge of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with guests, owners and staff.
