Hospital Pharmacist - Team Leader, Slade Pharmacy

About the role

Slade Pharmacy, part of Icon Oncology Group, is looking for an experienced pharmacist to lead its pharmacy service at St. Vincent's Private Hospital in East Melbourne. The role involves managing a diverse team to deliver patient-centred care in a fast-paced environment, strengthening clinical and operational excellence within a respected private hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the business operates profitably and efficiently
• Take part in the strategic planning and operations of the pharmacy business
• Motivate, guide and lead the pharmacy team
• Oversee daily operational activities
• Ensure compliance with legislation and contractual obligations while improving clinical and pharmacy services
• Lead and manage dispensary, retail and clinical services
• Attend and present at key client hospital meetings

Required profile

• Australian working rights valid for at least 12 months
• Current AHPR general registration with no restrictions on practice
• Demonstrated leadership experience in retail or hospital pharmacy
• Ability to build relationships with executives, nurses, doctors and other senior hospital stakeholders
• Desirable: prior hospital pharmacy experience and oncology pharmacy experience

• Leadership and mentoring of a dynamic team
