Heavy Diesel (HD) Mechanic

About the role

Guma-Warnii Resources, a Pilbara Aboriginal labour hire business supporting mining, civil and construction clients, is recruiting experienced Heavy Diesel (HD) mechanics for a client's project near Mandurah. The role suits trade-qualified mechanics with proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving equipment. It is a 9:5 roster with 11-hour days; there is no accommodation on site, so candidates should live within a reasonable travelling distance of Mandurah.

Required profile

• Relevant trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
• Proven experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment
• Experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing heavy mobile plant
• Experience with dump trucks, dozers, loaders, scrapers and excavators
• Ability to travel to and from the project, as accommodation is not provided (bus options from Mandurah or Bunbury are mentioned)
