Healthcare Consulting Consultant to Senior Director

About the role

FTI Consulting is expanding its health and human services practice in Brisbane and is seeking candidates with 2 to 10 years of experience in transformation, clinical operations, digital health, or healthcare data & analytics. Roles range from Consultant to Senior Director, offering the chance to work on impactful projects in the sector.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and manage client engagements, preparing presentations, reports and quantitative analysis within set timeframes.
• Engage in business development activities such as proposals, pitches, thought leadership and case studies.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, delegate tasks and supervise deliverables.

Required profile

• 2+ years of relevant experience in consulting, professional services, think tanks, universities or the public sector.
• Experience or strong interest in health, social services, disability or mental health sectors.
• Ability to travel within Australia and work both independently and in a fast‑paced team environment.

Required skills

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Project management and analytical skills.
• Experience with data analytics and visualisation tools such as Alteryx, Power BI or Tableau (preferred).
