About the role
BlueScope is seeking a Health & Safety Business Partner for its Port Kembla manufacturing site. You will work with frontline managers to coach, develop and support the business in meeting health and safety requirements while contributing to innovative safety projects.
Key responsibilities
- Support and drive critical risk reviews across manufacturing operations.
- Promote the Health and Safety strategy and provide advice that drives sustainable improvement.
- Monitor the effectiveness of health and safety systems and governance processes.
- Support incident investigations and translate learnings into improved controls.
- Build health and safety leadership capability within the department.
Required profile
- Qualifications in Work Health & Safety (WHS).
- Proven experience governing HSE management systems and critical risk controls.
- Ability to influence and coach stakeholders at all business levels.
- Capacity to promote innovation and manage both day‑to‑day tasks and strategic projects.
Required skills
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and standards.
- Experience with HSE governance frameworks.
