Health & Lifestyle Coordinator (FIFO 14:7) - Brisbane

About the role

Sodexo is looking for fitness industry professionals to join its multi-site Greater Australia portfolio as a Health & Lifestyle Coordinator. This is a casual Fly-In, Fly-Out role based in Brisbane on a 14 days on, 7 days off roster, with both casual and permanent positions available.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate group stretching sessions and motivate employees, as well as provide individual health management and wellness counselling
• Develop and coordinate sporting and social events, group exercise sessions (walking groups and circuit classes), wellness and health promotion programs, and physical rehabilitation programs for injured employees
• Design and deliver injury prevention programs and initiatives
• Lead and take responsibility for all health and lifestyle issues at the villages

Required profile

• Certificate III and IV in Fitness (nationally recognised)
• National accreditation as a qualified fitness instructor (e.g. Fitness Australia)
• CPR and Apply First Aid certification
• Current manual driver's licence (Class C)
• Experience delivering a variety of group fitness classes
• Ability to organise and oversee multiple health and recreation projects and programs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and excellent customer service
• Yoga or Mat Pilates teaching ability is advantageous but not essential
